A laid back village festival themed wedding at Knockerdown Farm | Budget Wedding Blog

Becca & Tom's wedding had so much personality wrapped up in it and it was full of serious party spirit. They married at Knockerdown Farm (a very cool venue in Derbyshire)

Knockerdown Farm is a recently licensed venue that's like a mini village, with copious amounts of accommodation in the form of a cluster of holiday cottages, lovely outdoor areas, beautiful views and big hall for your ceremony & party it's the perfect venue! When you book your wedding at Knockerdown you get sole use of the whole place for the full weekend and because your guests will be paying for the acomodation (which actually works out a lot cheaper than many hotels)it works out as a wonderfully affordable venue for a weekend long wedding fest!

Becca wore a gorgeous dress found in a sale and had it altered to fit her, they opted out of having lots of flowers just putting a bouquet and some buttonholes together themselves on the morning of the wedding. Beccas hair and make up were done by a friend and she wore heirloom jewellery. They also made miles of gorgeous bunting and the bridesmaids were on table plan and place name duty right up to the wire. Simple card and some creative colouring in made for super cute details!
